As an Educational Programmer / Analyst / LMS Administrator in ATSU's Computing Services / Academic Computing department, I specialize in Blackboard development, maintenance, and support. I interact with ASHS, ASDOH, SHM, SOMA, and KCOM faculty and staff, training them to utilize Blackboard, and assist in course development and management while supporting the distance-education student's technical needs. As an owner of a computer consulting business, in 1999 I initially contracted privately with ATSU to support WebCT before joining the Computing Services staff in November of 2001. Thus, I have been with the program since its inception. When I joined the Computing Services as a full-time employee, I brought with me a framework of experience in graphic and web design, computer training, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of Learning Management Systems. I have a background in computers, training, aircraft structural engineering, design, and computer-assisted drafting.
